Leadership Recognition Warmly Appreciated
WMIF President Joseph Pluta was a 2024 Nominee for 'Outstanding Older Americans of Maui County.' The 55th Annual Maui County Outstanding Older Americans Recognition Event treated all nominees to a wonderful lunch, entertainment and gifts.

JOE PLUTA receives certificates of appreciation for
life-changing improvements in the philippines
In conjunction with his role as President of the Lahaina Rotary Youth Foundation Inc. (LRYF)
Joe Pluta personally donated and authorized additional LRYF contributions for improving the educational opportunities in the Philippines by providing them with mobile stations which permit life saving access to clean drinking water, sanitation improvements and rehabilitation of learning center supplies, he was recognized by several schools with these certificates of appreciation. These certificates were received by LRYF Treasurer, Rick Nava, who traveled to the Philippines to implement and monitor these life changing improvements and received these certificates to bring back to Maui where he presented them to Pluta at a meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina.

Rotary Club of Lahaina Rotary Foundation Chairperson, Joseph Pluta was recognized by Hawaii State Rotary District Governor, Naomi Masuno and Club president Joe Park for District Award of honor in outstanding service for 42 consecutive years!
